Fully automatic with coffee powder compartment
Put an Eccellente cleaning tablet into the powder compartment for the second coffee type and place a cup under the coffee spout. Press the product button for powdered coffee and start the coffee brewing process. If approximately half a cup of water has run through, turn the appliance off for approx. 5 minutes using the main switch so that the solution can work. Then switch the appliance on again to finish the cycle. Repeat the process at least 3 times. Then remove the coffee machine parts and rinse them well with clean water. Before you start using the machine again, make two cups of coffee by pressing the ground coffee button (without adding coffee) and discard these.
To clean the drip tray, place a tablet in it and fill the drip tray with 2/3 warm water. Let the cleaning agent work for about 30 minutes and rinse the drip tray well. There are no more coffee deposits in your machine now.
Appliances without a coffee powder compartment
Place an Eccellente cleaning tablet in a cup and fill it with warm water. Remove the coffee machine parts and soak the filters and the outlet channel with the prepared cleaning solution for at least five minutes and repeat this process at least three times. Then rinse the coffee machine parts thoroughly with clean water and put them back. To clean the drip tray, place a tablet in it and fill the drip tray with 2/3 warm water. Let the cleaning agent work for about 30 minutes and rinse the drip tray well. There are no more coffee deposits in your machine now.
Appliances with filter holder
Before starting with cleaning, switch off the appliance and let it cool down. Unscrew the filter from the top of the coffee machine parts and place it in a bowl together with the filters of your filter holder. Put an Eccellente cleaning tablet in the bowl and fill with warm water. Let the solution work for about 30 minutes and rinse the filters with clean water. There are no longer any coffee deposits in the filters. Screw in the filter again that you removed from the coffee machine parts. Before you start using the machine again, prepare a cup of coffee and pour it away.
Thermos flasks, coffee pots, teapot or water bottle
Place an Eccellente cleaning tablet in the thermos flask or coffee pot, fill it 2/3 with hot water and let it work for approx. 30 minutes. Then rinse thoroughly.
