Preparation
Switch off the coffee machine and disconnect it from power, this will make it safe to clean the machine. Grab the supplies needed for cleaning:
- a soft cleaning cloth
- cleaning solution, such as DeLonghi Eco MultiClean
- cleaning brush, such as Eccellente Cleaning Brush
Step 1:
Take a soft cloth suitable for cleaning your coffee machine or dishcloth and moisten it (not wet). Use a special cleaner suitable for household appliances such as DeLonghi Eco MultiClean. Gently polish the outside of the machine until all dirt and stains are gone.
Step 2:
Dry your machine with a clean and dry cloth such as a tea towel. This will remove any remaining water streaks or residues of the multi-clean cleaning product.
Step 3:
Rag the coffee spout clean with a cleaning brush suitable for this purpose. The Eccellente Cleaning Brush has rubber ends so it won't damage or scratch your machine.
Following these steps regularly will keep your coffee machine beautifully neat and clean on the outside!

Tip 1: Clean regularly (e.g. weekly) to keep your machine clean and shiny! This will prevent the build-up of dirt and stains.
Tip 2: Avoid aggressive cleaning products (such as those containing bleach) or abrasives, as these are harmful to your coffee machine.
