Low prices & high service: customer service is our focus.
In 2008 our founder Dirk set up Descaler UK in his home. His dream was to introduce better coffee at home for anyone, improving millions of mornings and changing the coffee industry for the better. Nowadays the company is marketleader in Netherlands (Eccellente.nl), Belgium (Eccellente.be) and is growing very fast in the UK.
Dirk explains:
I got the opportunity to work for 6 months abroad at John Lewis in London before heading back to my home country, the Netherlands. The period in the UK made me so enthusiastic about the English coffee- and tea culture that the first thing I bought back home was a proper coffee machine. That certain machine was the start of the whole company! I got in contact with the supplier and he asked if I wanted to sell the machines for them online as well. Those machines didn't sell at all - but the maintenance for it did. So that's the foundation of our company: coffee machine maintenance products!
After that it went like a rollercoaster! As our company is based on low prices and high service - and with that we quickly outgrew the competition! Nowadays we are the largest seller in this industry in the Netherlands and Belgium.
In 2012 we made the decision to aim more on the UK market - the market we love so much! We partnered up with a local warehouse to ship our orders and in 2015 I (Dirk) moved with my wife to Eastbourne (South England) to focus more on the UK market.
We just love what we do, and that's what makes it so nice to buy at Descaler UK: we will do anything we can for our customers.
We have 6 customer service employees and we work with 3 warehouses.
