Why is a water filter essential?
Did you know that tap water contains a lot of limescale? The amount of limescale depends on the water hardness in your area. By using a water filter, you prevent limescale and filter metals and impurities from the water. In addition, filtered, pure water gives a better taste to your coffee. Maintain your machine for best results
A water filter is a good start to taking good care of your coffee machine. But more is needed to continue enjoying the best coffee from your machine. We recommend regularly cleaning, descaling and cleaning the milk system or steam nozzle.

Instruction
Very simply insert the Eccellente water filter for Sage into your piston machine.
Step 1: remove the water reservoir from your machine, pour out the water and clean the inside of the reservoir with a kitchen towel.
Step 2: remove the filter from its packaging and submerge it upside down in a bowl of water for about 30 seconds, this will remove the air from the filter.
Step 3: place the filter in the black water filter holder and close the water filter holder by clicking the top into place.
Step 4: fill the water tank with water and replace it in the machine. Then drain 2 cups of hot water to rinse the filter thoroughly and discard this water.
Your Sage coffee machine is now ready to use. Time for a delicious espresso!
